Hello. Welcome to Garden and Landscape Lighting! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, brose the pages and read our informative blog and of course check out the outdoor lights, which we hope you will like. To introduce myself, I am Christian, CEO and founder of Garden and Landscape Lighting . A bit of background on myself – I have over 18 years of experience in outdoor lighting, having designed and installed garden lighting solutions for hundreds of landscaping projects. Over that period of time I have worked with all sorts of outdoor lighting – from the good, bad and downright ugly! From the early days of halogen to today’s state of the art high lumen LED lighting, such as our UK made Platinum Range of outdoor lighting.
While in the pub one cold January evening, speaking to my soon to be business partner, Raphael. I was discussing the hard work we outdoor types have to endure! It was at that time where the “beast from the east” was blasting across the UK and I was literally wrapped up in three thick layers and two hats working on a frozen landscape to install 30 odd spike lights. Raphael commented, that with nearly two decades of experience, that wealth of knowledge should be passed on. That experience, of trying out 100s of outdoor lights from all over the world, to find the best outdoor lighting products. That knowledge of the best way to install the lights and to pass on the tips, such as in my recent blog “installing outdoor lighting as a landscape company”.
From that conversation, G&L Lighting was born. That knowledge I have in outdoor lighting, has allowed me to hand pick what I believe are the highest quality outdoor lighting products within the price range. The criteria I have used are that all the outdoor lights should be – durable, reliable and aesthetically pleasing, which I hope you will agree, our outdoor lighting range is! Sure, you can get outdoor lights cheaper on other websites but do you want to be replacing them after a year?
